Meet Crystal Faria

Crystal Faria was born in Clark Mills. She’s the mother to four adult children. She and her husband Gary have a teenager who attends Clinton Middle School. She’s a current member of the Clark Mills Historical Society and friend of the Kirkland Town Library.

Crystal’s very proud of her family’s military service including her eldest son along with both her parents and husband. She’s a past member of the Clark Mills American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and proudly wears her mother’s American Legion pin to commemorate this special organization in her life.

For seven years, Crystal was employed with the USPS and delivered mail to hundreds of homes in Kirkland, Clinton, and Westmoreland. Just as mail carriers go out in any weather, Crystal will bring that same commitment to taking action and seeing it through in the county legislature.

For eight years Crystal was her daughter’s Kirkland Girl Scout troop leader. This was one of her favorite ways to serve her community and neighbors. Whether it was a community clean up day, developing girls’ business skills by selling cookies, or placing flags on veterans’ grave-sites, Crystal knows how to work with others and make an impact that lasts a lifetime.

Currently Crystal is a substance use disorder/mental health advocate. She helps people get the resources they need to improve their quality of life.

If there’s one thing to to know about her, it’s that Crystal cares about people and doing everything she can to make their lives better. She’ll do that in the county legislature for Clark Mills, Westmoreland, and New Hartford.

During the month of March, Crystal is knocking on doors and collecting petition signatures to help her get on the ballot. Going out in the snow and cold is easier with good company.
